Higher youth unemployment rates are everywhere in the world with common characteristics and similar level of severity. Among youths, international students are the most disadvantageous group to be an entrepreneur.
Observing these crucial problems in the field and identifying the need of EU level coordination on promoting employability and new business creation of international students and national students and tackling youth unemployment problem of IS and NS, the consortium was dedicated to proposing a practical solution. The brain storms revealed that there is a mismatch of sources problem in destination countries like Turkey and EU members. Among European countries UK and Netherlands are receiving countries in education of international students and sending countries in creation of new jobs and start-ups for international students.
The consortium was established under the coordination of Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University (AYBU) which is a public university with the highest rate of International Students. The partners are Turkish Youth Clubs Confederation (TYCC) from Turkey, Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) from Turkey, International Labour Association (ILA) from Netherlands and Girne American University (GAU) from the UK.
